Prizes are not awarded according to the usual pattern of ranking. Instead, the winner/loser principle - which is prevailing in the violent scene - is deliberately abandoned, thus setting new standards. The awards are based on different criteria and attributes.

More participants will receive an award than only those ranking 1st to 3rd.

The given topics are only meant as suggestions to deal with the subject of the contest. The term violence includes any physical as well as psychological forms of violence.

The Contest is divided into four fields:

• Short film

• Animation

• Game
