Awards Ceremony 2011

On 4 November 2011, the awards ceremony of the 3rd International Photo, Short Film, Animation and GameContest 2011 took place at the NH Hotel Neue Messe Riem, Munich.
The radiant smiles of the winners on this evening reflected their joy and happiness about the awarded, valuable prizes and trophies.
The laudatory speech was given by the well-known TV-presenter Carolin Seifert of münchen.tv who also awarded the prizes.
At the beginning, the newly designed logo of the gingko leaf was presented, symbolizing intellectual activity, creativity and cognitions.
Then the words of welcome of the famous actor and director Karl Markovics, Austria, were read, who is committed to the prevention of violence
as well as the words of welcome of the award winner Lena Mucha sent from Columbia.
Musical Entertainment
The Rap band Wagenbreth was entertaining the audience with their songs. Their musical version of the work of Pinar Bektöre, „Together we are strong“ has won an award (see under Award Winners 2011).

The award winners expressed their gratitude, some of them with moving words. Young people from Ravensburg gave a live presentation of the rap dance from their contribution to the contest.

The skills and level of sophistication reflected by the entries and the event were the subject of conversation around the cold buffet, next to the award winning works of 2009 which were of great interest, too.
